1 review for Eagle Industries Multi-Mission Armor Carrier (MMAC)

  1. Jim

I’ve had experience with this Eagle MMAC, a Mayflower APC, and A Crye JPC. The Eagle MMAC is easily my favorite of the three hands down, by a long shot. Mine is from 2014 and still in great shape. The shoulder straps are positioned perfectly to leave room for the butt stock, and the padding really helps too.
The Mayflower APC isn’t as good because it has a sloppy fit in the plate bags meant to fit different size plates, and interferes with buttstock, where as the Eagle MMAC is a precise fit.
The Crye JPC is the most uncomfortable plate carrier I’ve ever had, and it is not made to last, and the shoulder straps lay so wide that any movement of the shoulder will drive real Sapi Plates right into your collar bone if fitted correctly. The Eagle MMAC keeps the shoulder straps closer to the neck, providing a more stable fit independent of any shoulder movement.
